Book Review Policy

Authors and Publishers…

Thank you for considering me to review your books.

My favorite genres include mystery/thrillers, contemporary fiction, historical fiction, young adult, and memoirs. I do not read romance, science fiction, fantasy or horror.

I do not accept e-books at this time, and am very selective when I do accept self-published books.

I review every book I read, and my acceptance of your book for review does not guarantee a positive review. I will review your book honestly, and point out things that did not work for me.

If I am unable to finish your book, I may mention that and list the reasons why. I also reserve the right not to post a review. If I am unable to review your book, I will pass it on to another blogger who will.

I give priority to my review books, and try to have ARC reviews published within a week of their release. If the book is already released, I will work with you on scheduling a date for the review.

I will occasionally have giveaways of ARC copies on my blog. If you don’t want your copy given away, please let me know.

I enjoy participating in blog tours, author interviews, guest posts and/or giveaways. Generally, I prefer to read the book being promoted before publishing these types of posts.

Thank you again for your interest in my blog, and I look forward to working with you.

Disclosures:

Due to the new FTC regulations I have added a source line to each of my reviews. If the source of the book is the publisher or author, I have received this book free of charge in order to read and review it. All of my reviews are fair and unbiased. The source of the books does not influence what I have to say about it.

Also, I am an Amazon Affiliate. The links in the reviews are linked to my Amazon Account and if you purchase a book through my blog I may receive a small amount of compensation for this purchase.
